Recipe for Spiced Cauliflower and Chickpeas


Components: Slice one medium cauliflower into florets. One can (15 oz) of rinsed and drained chickpeas Two tablespoons of olive oil One teaspoon of ground cumin Ground coriander, 


1 teaspoon Half a teaspoon smoked paprika Half a teaspoon of turmeric 1/4 teaspoon optional cayenne pepper To taste, add salt and black pepper. One lemon, squeezed Chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish) Directions: 1. Turn the oven on to 400°F, or 200°C. 2. Combine the chickpeas and cauliflower with the spices and olive oil in a big basin. 3. Arrange on a baking sheet and roast, stirring halfway through, for 25 to 30 minutes. 4. Take out of the oven and garnish with cilantro and lemon juice. 5. For a filling supper, serve warm over rice or as a side dish. Have fun!
