 Hearty Golden-Crusted Meat Pie

This classic Meat Pie features a flaky pastry and a savory minced meat filling. To make the crust, combine flour with cold butter and a pinch of salt, then add ice-cold water to form a dough. Chill before use. For the filling, sauté onions, brown minced meat, and stir in flour, beef broth, and seasonings. Simmer until thickened, then cool completely. Line a pie dish with pastry, add the filling, and cover with a top crust. Crimp the edges, brush with egg wash, and bake at 200°C (400°F), then 180°C (350°F), until golden brown.
